Custom Features:

This garage with living quarters in Daggett, Michigan, is designed to serve as a fully-equipped hunting cabin and retreat for our clients and their guests. We started with an Oakridge 60′ Apartment Barn Kit and modified the original model to suit our client’s unique needs for the place. Our in-house design team enclosed the shed roof on the right side of the structure and added another enclosed space to the left to make room for a 2,852 sq. ft. garage and workshop area with five garage bays on the first floor. The addition of the shed roofs also provides ample space for a 128 sq. ft. storage area, a foyer, a living, kitchen, and dining area, a half bathroom, and a utility room. We removed one of the standard Nantucket dormers and added two heavy timber trusses to the gable ends for visual appeal. This post and beam structure also features beautiful wood ceilings with tongue and groove accents upstairs — a detail that gives this hunting cabin its signature rustic appearance.
