Washington Monitor Barn Kit

Fall City, WA3,964 Sq. Ft.

Project Summary:

Our in-house design team modified this monitor barn kit outside Seattle, Washington, to serve as a heavy-duty workshop for our client. Major engineering upgrades include the widening of the structure from 36′ to 46′, the addition of a heavy timber center aisle loft, double-wall construction for all exterior walls, and a partially enclosed 60′ shed roof. The floor plan is a wide-open workshop with a small storage room.

Our client opted to replace our standard Douglas fir tongue and groove siding with cedar tongue and groove siding and our standard breezeway doors with steel-framed man doors. Our designers also added a 40″ x 96″ custom cupola and two dozen additional windows to this commercial design. Our client elected to add a pre-staining package that included the staining of all cedar siding and trim on all four sides before delivery. They supplied the rest of the exterior doors to finish this unique custom barn kit project.
