PROJECT SUMMARY:
These clients in Sugar Grove, North Carolina turned to DC Structures to bring their vision of a unique barn-style bunkhouse for summer camps and events to life. This structure is based on the Columbia 48′ gable barn kit and was heavily customized to create a one-of-a-kind building. The main level features a large gathering space with a removable stage, bar, and full kitchen. Upstairs are two separated living areas, each with a bunk room, a chaperone room, a full bathroom, and access to a 14′ x 14′ deck.
Major upgrades include a 12′ x 48′ covered portico with three massive heavy timber trusses, heavy timber roof upgrades, and a 24′ shed dormer to provide additional head space on the second level. This project is currently under construction. Check back later for photos of the completed structure!
