Project Summary:
This backyard party barn in Granite Bay, California, offers the perfect setting for relaxing with friends and family. Modified from our Columbia 24′ Gable Barn Kit, this compact barn features a comprehensive floor plan that includes a 1,152 sq. ft. lounge area and a 310 sq. ft. upstairs loft. Our designers made minimal adjustments to the original model, including removing a set of columns on the main level, enclosing the shed roof, and eliminating a vented cupola from the design. We also replaced a few of our standard doors, window, and siding options with available upgrades, including 12′ x 9′ quad-glass breezeway doors in place of our standard barn-end doors and Hardie® Panel siding instead of our usual select tight knot cedar board and batten siding.

In many ways, this backyard barn stays true to our standard Columbia 24′ Gable Barn Kit, except for a few stand-out features like its quad-glass breezeway doors, reclaimed wood walls, and Hardie® Panel board and batten siding. Our designers made minimal modifications to the model, including removing a set of columns inside the barn, enclosing the shed roof, and replacing a faux hayloft door with Andersen 100 Series fixed and single-hung windows above the entrance. We also added tempered glass windows and black exterior and interior window trim.
