Bakersfield Barn Venue & Garage

Bakersfield Barn Venue & Garage
Bakersfield, CA10,520 Sq. Ft.

Project Summary:

This stunning barn venue and garage in Bakersfield, California, is a versatile space that seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern functionality. Adapted from our Powell Monitor Barn Kit, this heavy timber structure features a warm and spacious interior beautifully decorated for the holidays.

From its cedar exterior to its wood-clad walls and vaulted ceilings, the venue embodies the enduring beauty of barn-style architecture. Working closely with our clients, we customized the standard Powell model to bring their vision to life, raising the sidewalls to 20 feet and adding expansive shed roofs to extend patio and garage coverage.

Inside, the 3,166 sq. ft. main hall welcomes guests into a brightly lit space accentuated by large, gridded windows, including a striking statement glass panel at the entrance. Knotty wood cladding and a 1,664 sq. ft. mezzanine loft add warmth and elegance. Meanwhile, additional spaces like a concealed 2,513 sq. ft. garage, an 868 sq. ft. storage room, and a cozy 398 sq. ft. gym offer exceptional versatility.

Whether hosting celebrations, gatherings, or year-round events, this barn delivers the perfect blend of rustic charm, modern functionality, and timeless appeal.

They also modified numerous structural elements for enhanced versatility, like raising the height of their sidewalls, increasing the size of their shed roofs, and extending the width of their center aisle.
