This unique Oakridge 60′ garage with living quarters in Newberg, Oregon is carefully built into a hillside in Oregon’s wine country. The structure itself has been completed as the client plans to finish out the interior at a later date.

This client started with our 36′ x 60′ Oakridge model and added two fully enclosed shed roofs to create a 60′ x 60′ footprint. The main level is a 3,216 sq. ft. shop with two 12′ x 10′ garage doors to create a drive-through garage bay for convenient vehicle storage. This building kit was engineered differently to enable the removal of row of four posts, creating a 24′ span for ease of movement. You’ll also find a powder room and stairs to the upper level along with a shaft for an elevator to be installed later.

When completed, the 2,463 sq. ft. living space will include an open concept living and dining area, a large open kitchen featuring a double oven and an island with sink. The dining area opens out to a 512 sq. ft. deck partially covered by a timber framed porch. The living areas will include a master suite with a gas fireplace, four-piece en suite and his and hers walk in closets, two additional bedrooms with a shared Jack and Jill bathroom, a powder room, and a large laundry room.
