Project Summary:
This custom pergola kit is part of a private residence in Boring, Oregon. The small structure measures only 5′ x 7′, but it makes a big impression with select-grade Douglas fir posts, beams, knee braces and slats. This project is a good example of our mortise and tenon upgrade with post and beam connections made using all-wood joinery and oak pegs instead of metal hardware.
