Custom Features:
There are dozens of eye-catching details on display in this equestrian facility in Boulder, Colorado, including the custom arched windows adorning the gable ends of the structure and its two-story heavy timber ceilings. Douglas fir tongue and groove siding and Western red cedar board and batten siding on the exterior create a unique visual element that commands attention. Inside, Douglas fir tongue and groove wall coverings on the first floor and exposed heavy timber members add to the rustic charm of this one-of-a-kind space. Our designers modified the interior to include five horse stalls to the right of the entrance and an extra-large tack room, a wash bay, a feed room, and a bathroom/utility room on the opposite end of the breezeway aisle. This client also opted to leave the second story open to the first floor, creating high heavy timber ceilings that leave a lasting impression.
