Project Summary:
Adapted from our Modern Deschutes Cabin Kit, this stilted retreat in Magnolia, Texas, showcases the incredible design flexibility of our pre-engineered building models. One of four structures we designed for these clients, this guest suite is anything but ordinary, with marble flooring, ornate lighting, and striking interior finishes throughout.
Echoing elements from its sister structure, this cabin sits atop a raised foundation and features an 844 sq. ft. wraparound deck perfect for relaxing or entertaining. Sloped rooflines and expansive window walls create its signature modern aesthetic, while traditional cedar siding and decking add classic rustic charm.

Custom Features:
Like its sister structure, we designed this cabin with several upgrades to meet our client’s vision for a guest suite and ADU. We pre-stained the siding in a rich dark walnut finish and framed the exterior windows with dark bronze trim and hardware. Together with its richly appointed interior, these design upgrades help this cabin stand out as a one-of-a-kind retreat for family and friends alike.
