Project Summary:

We know where we’re getting Christmas gifts for loved ones this year! Located in Cleves, Ohio, this eclectic barn and gift shop offers a wide selection of new and used items for purchase, and with its adorable array, we can’t think of any better place to do some much-needed holiday shopping.

Adapted from an Oakridge 60′ Apartment Barn Kit, this post and beam structure features a 3,640 sq. ft. main level with a 1,800 sq. ft. shop area, multiple storage rooms, and a 288 sq. ft. garage. One floor up, a wraparound loft with a windowed cupola creates an open and spacious area for additional shop items.

Outside, a stone entryway with arch-top double doors welcomes guests into the cozy barn store, with a faux loft door and king post truss above adding mystique to the entrance. Furthermore, its unique mix of two-tone siding and stone installations gives the impression of a renovated barn, creating the illusion of stepping through time to enter a space attuned to past and present eras.

Custom Features:

This quaint barn and gift shop in Cleves, Ohio, features a lightly modified design that mostly stays true to our original Oakridge model, save for a few enhancements. With the help of our designers, this client tweaked several aspects of our Oakridge 60′ kit to create their desired barn structure. These alternations include removing the standard 144 sq. ft. deck, enclosing the shed roof, adding another enclosed shed roof, and adding a garage to the main level. For their exterior, they also decided to incorporate a stone entryway with arch-top double doors, a faux hayloft door, and a large king post truss as part of the storefront. Additionally, its two-tone siding and blend of stone and wood textures add dimension to the exterior, making it feel whimsical and homey inside and out.
