Project Summary:
Based on our Columbia Gable Barn Kit, this party barn and pool house in Sherwood, Oregon, serves as the ultimate hangout spot for our clients and their guests. We designed this post and beam structure with numerous eye-catching features, including Andersen gridded windows, sliding breezeway doors with quad glass tops, and 1″ x 6″ select grade tongue and groove wall coverings. We also removed the upstairs loft area to create soaring heavy timber ceilings with exposed wood rafters and beams.
A custom bar area with a built-in wine fridge transforms this unique space into a relaxed tasting room of sorts, where our clients can try their favorite local wines with friends and family. There’s also a separate shop and storage room so our clients can store their necessities out of sight when guests are over. Unlike our standard Columbia, this design includes a covered shed roof and three breezeway doors instead of the original two. We also covered the exterior with a mix of Woodtone RusticSeries™ board and batten and lap siding.

Custom Features:
This party barn and pool house is a testament to the quality of our materials and craftsmanship. From the windows selected to the exposed timbers inside the structure, every element of this space feels incredibly high-end and original. We modified this post and beam structure to include gridded Andersen windows, steel-framed breezeway doors with quad glass tops, and select grade tongue and groove wall coverings — all of which add to its unique charm. We also incorporated Woodtone RusticSeries™ siding with a vibrant red trim and 2′ corbels as part of the exterior design.
