Stone Valley Meadows Wedding Venue

Franklin, OH9,878 Sq. Ft.

Project Summary:

This breathtaking wedding venue in Franklin, Ohio is another stunning example of a custom wedding venue design by DC Structures. Based on our Oakridge Apartment Barn Kit, this post and beam structure was modified to create an all-inclusive venue with ample room for indoor and outdoor festivities. The first floor consists of a spectacular main hall with a large window wall and floor-to-ceiling tongue and groove wall coverings. Other desirable amenities on the main level include a catering kitchen, a small bar area, ADA bathrooms, an office, a breakout room with its own gas fireplace, and a 24′ x 30′ heavy timber covered entry.

From a heavy timber staircase in the main hall, brides and bridesmaids can access a luxurious bridal suite complete with a beauty bar, private bathroom, and deck. Outside, a detached groom’s quarters modeled after our Columbia Gable Barn Kit serves as a rustic two-story suite for grooms and their groomsmen. Something that’s unique to this property is that a historic barn and silo stand adjacent to the main barn and groom’s quarters — an eye-catching detail that makes the perfect backdrop for wedding pictures. Steps from the main venue, newlyweds can also take advantage of an intimate outdoor ceremony area with plenty of rustic charm.

Custom Features:

Modified from our Oakridge Apartment Barn Kit, this barn-style wedding venue features numerous custom details that make it highly unique. For example, these clients extended the original building model to 40′ x 108′ to increase guest capacity in the main barn. They also added a 12′ x 108′ covered shed roof to create extra space for a breakout room on the main level. Instead of going with our standard cedar board and batten siding, they opted for a Hewn exterior cedar siding upgrade. The main hall also features floor-to-ceiling tongue and groove wall coverings that add visual appeal to the space.
