Step inside one of the first-ever completed Pineridge Apartment Barn Kits to grace our project gallery! Based on our Pineridge 60′ Apartment Barn Kit, this elegant post and beam structure boasts a sweeping interior perfect for large weddings, family gatherings, and special occasions.
The first floor features a massive 3,030 sq. ft. main hall with a dramatic center aisle that opens to the second story. Tall Douglas fir posts line the center aisle, distinguishing this space from its covered outer areas. Shed roofs on the left- and right-hand sides provide dual purposes—one serving as an enclosed storage area with two restrooms and the other as a covered patio where guests can relax and mingle between festivities. Additionally, a live-edge custom bar inside the main hall offers the perfect pit stop for a drink, while a small prep kitchen in the back provides flexible catering capabilities.
At the end of the hall, a timber frame split staircase leads to two 720 sq. ft. loft areas on the second story. One on end, our clients can access a gorgeous office surrounded by gridded window installations, adding a vintage feel to the upstairs space. On the opposite end, multiple lounge areas offer a restful retreat under warm, tongue-and-groove ceilings. Finally, through sliding patio doors on either end, clients and guests can access a large, covered deck with lounge sofas and views of the surrounding property.

Custom Features:
Our clients implemented several design modifications and material upgrades to transform their pre-engineered building model into a unique, custom structure. For instance, they raised the structure to create a more expansive-feeling interior and exterior space. These clients also opted for heavy timber truss, loft, and staircase upgrades, adding exceptional warmth and beauty to the building. However, one of the most alluring features is their enclosed upstairs office, which boasts gridded windows and a distinct early 19th-century style. This inclusion, along with numerous other upgrades and fixtures, makes this structure truly one-of-a-kind and one we couldn’t be prouder to call a turnkey DC project!
