Timber Frame Design & Fabrication

For projects that incorporate timber framing, we act as your partner for the portions of the structure that require specialized expertise. Our team designs, fabricates, and test-fits timber frame components using traditional joinery and modern production methods, delivering a precise, installation-ready package that integrates cleanly with the rest of your build.

This allows you to offer timber frame construction without taking on the added complexity, labor, or risk of producing it in-house.

Off-Site Manufacturing

At our manufacturing facility, we pre-cut your framing, siding, and decking materials to exact specifications using CNC technology. Every component is pre-drilled, labeled, and ready for assembly.
This approach reduces on-site labor, minimizes material waste, and significantly accelerates your build timeline—helping your crew stay efficient and your project stay on schedule.

Land Developers

When executed correctly, residential and commercial developments—including community centers, food halls, and mixed-use spaces—do more than expand cities. They shape communities, strengthen local economies, and elevate everyday experiences. That’s why getting it right from the start isn’t optional—it’s critical.

Events & Hospitality

From wineries and tasting rooms to wedding venues, hotels, and resort properties, hospitality projects demand more than great design—they require efficient planning, seamless coordination, and a clear path to opening.

At DC Structures, we partner with owners, operators, and developers to deliver building systems that are designed for performance, constructability, and speed. From early planning through prefabrication and delivery, our process helps reduce complexity, streamline construction, and bring high-quality spaces to market faster.

Whether you’re developing a single destination or scaling a proven concept, here’s how we support your project:

Concept & Venue Planning

Every successful hospitality project starts with a layout that works—for both guests and operations. Our team helps develop structural concepts and building layouts that support circulation, service flow, and back-of-house functionality from the outset.

We coordinate early with partners like architects and consultants to ensure the building system aligns with key operational requirements, helping reduce redesign and keep the project moving forward efficiently.

Scalable Building Systems

For clients developing multiple venues or expanding an existing concept, we provide scalable building systems that bring consistency and efficiency across projects. Whether adapting one of our pre-engineered models or developing a custom prototype, we help establish a repeatable approach that maintains design quality while improving cost control and delivery timelines.

Prefabrication & Project Coordination

Our prefabrication process is designed to simplify construction and reduce field variables. Using CNC technology, we produce pre-cut, pre-drilled, and labeled structural components that arrive ready for efficient assembly on-site.

We also work closely with your builder, MEP engineers, and specialty consultants—including commercial kitchen and food service designers—to ensure structural systems are fully coordinated with mechanical, electrical, and operational requirements before construction begins, resulting in a more predictable build, fewer delays in the field, and a faster path from concept to opening day.

Process

Architects & Designers

Great design deserves a building system that can deliver on it.

At DC Structures, we partner with architects and designers to translate complex ideas into precise, buildable structures—without compromising your vision. From early design assist through final construction documents and prefabrication, our team works alongside you to reduce friction, improve coordination, and bring clarity to every phase of the process.

Whether you’re designing a custom residence, hospitality space, or commercial project, here’s how we can support your workflow:

Structural Design & Timber Systems

Our team designs structural systems that align with your architectural intent—whether that includes traditional timber framing, modern post and beam construction, or a combination of approaches tailored to your design. With deep expertise in wood construction, we support everything from fully expressed timber frame structures using real wood joinery to more efficient systems that incorporate timber elements in key architectural spaces.

Using advanced 3D modeling, we analyze connections, spans, and load paths early to ensure every component performs as intended and integrates seamlessly with your design. For timber frame projects, we fabricate and test-fit each frame at our facility prior to delivery, ensuring precision, fit, and quality control long before it reaches the job site.

Design Assist & 3D Modeling

We collaborate with you during schematic design and design development to refine structural systems, resolve potential conflicts, and streamline decision-making before construction begins.

Our 3D modeling process allows us to integrate your design into a fully coordinated structural model, helping identify challenges early and reduce back-and-forth later. The result is a more efficient design process, clearer communication across teams, and fewer surprises as the project progresses.

Material & Build Optimization

Throughout the design process, we help you track and optimize material costs while maintaining the integrity of your design. Our team provides detailed material takeoffs and budgeting insights, allowing you to make informed decisions as the project evolves.

By aligning structural design with our prefabrication capabilities, we also ensure your project is optimized for efficient construction—reducing waste, shortening timelines, and simplifying installation for your builder.

Our Simple Build System

Why Prefab?

Prefabrication is rapidly reshaping the construction industry to meet the demands of home buyers, developers, and builders. Instead of cutting and preparing materials on-site, prefabricated framing lumber arrives pre-cut, drilled, labeled, and ready for assembly, all produced in a controlled off-site facility. This approach delivers major advantages, including faster build times, lower costs, and reduced waste, noise, and environmental impact. With prefabricated buildings requiring 30% to 50% fewer framing hours than traditional construction, it’s no surprise this method continues to gain momentum as a key trend in the industry.
