Anchored Roots Winery

Egg Harbor, WI6,023 Sq. Ft.

Project Summary:

Located on a picturesque peninsula between Green Bay and Lake Michigan, the Anchored Roots Winery in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, offers a delightfully cozy tasting room setting just a few short miles from the water. Designed with a 1,105 sq. ft. tasting room, a 206 sq. ft. warming kitchen, a 3,066 sq. ft. production facility, and a large outdoor seating area, this winery boasts ample rustic charm within a highly functional and expansive space.

This barn-style structure started as a Union 84′ Event Barn Kit before undergoing several modifications to accommodate its commercial design requirements. Our designers worked closely with these clients to adapt our base model to the needs of their winery, namely by raising the structure 1′ for clerestory window additions and enclosing the standard shed roofs to expand the interior space. We also added numerous customizations to achieve their regional needs and style, with our team replacing a few of our standard materials with Pella 250 Series windows, faux wood accents, and Woodtone Rustic siding in Roasted Walnut and Summer Wheat colors.

Custom Features:

The Anchored Roots Winery is a perfect example of our customization capabilities! Modified after a Union 84′ Event Barn Kit, this structure retains many of our base model characteristics while featuring an identity and appearance entirely original to our clients. As part of our commercial building standards, this tasting room and production facility underwent a commercial design review by our in-house architect to verify that every inch of the space abides by state and regional building codes. As a result, this structure isn’t just built to last but made to ensure continued success for our clients and their guests.
