Buena Vista Riding Arena

Buena Vista Riding Arena
Buena Vista, CO9,222 Sq. Ft.

Project Summary:

Based on our Prairie Arena Kit, this 9,222 sq. ft. structure provides a bright and open riding space, with angle-iron steel trusses creating an expansive interior free of obstructions. Skylights and clerestory windows keep the arena well-lit during the daytime while sliding barn doors and arena gates ensure optimal ventilation for riders and horses at all times.

Starting with our Prairie 72′ Arena Kit, these clients added two 12′ x 24′ covered shed roofs to their design, creating room for equestrian equipment and miscellaneous storage. They also opted for Andersen 100 Series transom windows, tight knot cedar tongue and groove siding, and traditional cross bucks on their barn doors and arena gates.

This riding arena in Buena Vista, Colorado, offers a similar design to our standard Prairie Arena Kit, save for a few options and upgrades that make it unique. The first is the inclusion of skylights above the arena space, which help brighten the interior and add visual intrigue to the structure. The second addition is a set of covered shed roofs on the north end, creating ample room for equipment and vehicle storage. Additionally, with the help of our talented designers, our clients added clerestory and transom windows to their arena design, ensuring their space remains naturally bright, welcoming, and attractive in any weather. With these functional inclusions and other engineering upgrades, our clients can enjoy a covered arena that makes riding enjoyable and comfortable year-round.
