Canopy Grove Service Building

Canopy Grove Service Building
Escondido, CA2,880 Sq. Ft.

Project Summary:

Based on our Union Event Barn Kit, this beautiful service building in Escondido, California, functions as a multi-purpose prep space. Inside, a spacious commercial kitchen with ample storage takes the venue’s catering capabilities up a notch. A cozy bridal suite toward the back also provides a quaint and relaxing setting for pre-wedding prep, with two vanity areas, mirrors, and armchairs completing the room.

With its 2,880 sq. ft. floor plan and 600 sq. ft. covered shed roof, this building offers optimal utility and comfort for bridal parties, kitchen staff, and guests. Like the Canopy Grove wedding barn and pool house, this development features a modern barn design that stuns from floor to ceiling while boasting a robust framework perfect for the Southern California region.

Custom Features:

This clear-span structure boasts numerous modifications to the original building model, including a reduced building footprint, the inclusion of a commercial kitchen, and a 600 sq. ft. shed roof addition. Our designers started with a Union 84′ Event Barn Kit, reducing the length by 24′ to create an efficient 48′ x 60′ floor plan. We then removed several aspects of the base kit, with our client replacing our standard siding, window package, and shed roof for something more in line with their vision. Additionally, we oversaw the commercial design review for the structure, handling structural and MEP engineering, and added fire-safe materials to the design for extra protection and security.
