Dogwood Barn Wedding Venue

Dogwood Barn Wedding Venue
Milledgeville, GA7,128 Sq. Ft.

Project Summary:

Modified from our Legacy Event Barn Kit, this simple yet stunning wedding barn in Milledgeville, Georgia, offers a cozy rustic interior that stuns from room to room. The main level features a wide-open ceremony and reception area with beautiful post and beam ceilings. Douglas fir tongue and groove interior wall coverings throughout add considerable warmth to the space, with vintage accent pieces giving the barn a unique old-world feel.

A prep kitchen, utility room, bar area, and ADA bathrooms round out the first floor, while an upstairs loft offers a secluded bridal suite with a private bathroom. A windowed cupola above the main hall and another in the bridal suite act as decorative and functional features inside the structure. Other notable details include the addition of heavy timber trusses in the bridal suite and antique-style decor throughout the venue.

Custom Features:

This wedding barn design stays true to our Legacy Event Barn Kit, with many of its standard features on display in and outside the space. That said, our in-house design team modified parts of the floor plan and design to accommodate our client’s needs, including removing the 26′ x 26′ covered entrance and the optional groom’s suite, storage room, and office included in the sample floor plan. Something unique about this venue is its floor-to-ceiling Douglas fir tongue and groove interior wall finishes, which give the space a distinct rustic appearance. Our clients can also enjoy the look of timber frame trusses inside the bridal suite and an improved heavy timber aesthetic throughout.
