Kenwood Rogue Cabin Kit

Kenwood, CA1,138 Sq. Ft.

Project Summary:

Adapted from our Rogue Cabin Kit, this post and beam residence features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open-concept living space, and a 341 sq. ft. covered porch. This cabin kit is one of three buildings we designed for our clients in Kenwood, California, and one of two residential cabins on the property. The layout is nearly identical to the sample floor plan for our standard Rogue Cabin Kit, save for the master suite. The master bedroom, bathroom, and closet were extended in size to accommodate extra living space, with this modification adding 190 square feet to the original cabin design.

Similar to the neighboring Deschutes Cabin Kit and Powell Monitor Barn Kit, this two-bedroom cabin features western red cedar board and batten siding and Andersen™ 100 Series windows. The covered porch is made with western red cedar decking, hand railing, and trim, along with select grade Douglas fir columns and posts for structural support.
