This charming pool house in York, Pennsylvania is built from our Sellwood 36′ garage and workshop kit. To create a custom outbuilding that was just right for them, these clients opted out of the doghouse dormers that come standard with the Sellwood and added a 12′ x 36′ shed roof off the back for additional square footage. For additional aesthetic impact, two interior roof trusses were upgraded to heavy timber trusses and a 4′ x 4′ cedar cupola was added. The floor plan includes changing rooms and plenty of room for ping pong tables, pool and garden equipment, and mixed storage. DC Structures was also able to accommodate the replacement of all Douglas fir and cedar siding, trim and fascia with James Hardie fiber cement products.
